I've been gone for literally a million years. Hi everyone haha! And sorry! I've been very busy, and most of my free time was only available for making some YouTube videos, so this blog was totally neglected.<br />
<br />
Now that I am back, I think a great way to kick start my summer blog posts is to post some swatches of some useful things. Now I am a blush hoarder (no secret), so some blushes from MAC should do the trick. These blushes are my favourites from MAC, but they are also mostly summer favourites, since I love to wear more blush in the summer!<br />
<br />
My favourite blushes from MAC are: Legendary, Hang Loose, Pinch o' Peach, Blushbaby, Melba, and Margin.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Only Legendary and Hang Loose are limited blushes from MAC, everything else is permanent. I love these because they are so pigmented, yet works really well with my skin tone. I am NC 15, with a yellow undertone.<br />
I have filmed a little video on these blushes and reviewed them! Click on it if you are interested!<br />

Hello my lovelies! I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine's Day, and Happy Lunar New Year!<br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="font-family: inherit; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;">Today I will share my hair dye experiences. I have naturally very dark brown Asian hair to begin with, and have used box dyes to dye my hair for about 2 years now. After going after a variety of blonds in L'Oreal and Garnier to lighten my dark hair, I have finally settled for the Natural Copper Blonde B04 in the L'Oreal Excellence Creme range. This colour gives me a nice medium warm brown colour to my hair, and does significantly lighten my hair. In order for this to work, I usually need it on and wait for over an hour. Otherwise the colour will not show much at all. But when I do have the patience to leave it on for a long time, it gives me the colour I want. </span></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;">The colour stays on very nicely, without being washed away quickly. I find the red tone sticks to me until about 3 months after, when my hair will become a little brassy, but in general still has a nice reddish copper tint to it, which I love. I find that right after dying my hair with this, my hair will be stiff and dry for a few days, but it soon recovers. This happens every time I use it. I don't do particular hair treatments to my hair, I just use the conditioner that comes with the dye on a daily basis until I run out of it.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="background-color: white;"><br style="line-height: 18.031999588012695px;" /></span><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;">The dye comes with a pre-hairdye serum that you apply to your hair before you dye it, and leave it on for a few minutes. I find the post-hairdye conditioner quite nice, as it does moisturize my hair nicely after, and the texture is nice and thick, without it feeling like a coat of weird stuff on my hair even after I rinse it off. Also, the hair dye does not smell too bad, it also has a nice scent on top of the ammonia odour to kind of mask it nicely, I also like the texture of the hair dye very much, as there is no dripping and no mess every time. Unlike the L'Oreal Preference, which drips everywhere...</span><br style="line-height: 18.031999588012695px;" /><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;"><br /></span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;">Here is a video from my YouTube Channel, this was filmed when I was doing a root touch up with this hair dye, it should give you a good idea on how it works.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 18.031999588012695px;"><a href="http://youtu.be/f0-_kTnBFFU">If you can't see the video, click here.</a></span></span></div>

<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://ytimg.googleusercontent.com/vi/f0-_kTnBFFU/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="266" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/f0-_kTnBFFU?feature=player_embedded" width="320"></iframe></div>
<br />
Some tips and tricks:<br />
<br />
1. I wash my hair everyday, and I do not believe in the whole thing about leaving your hair unwashed a few days before you dye your hair. It makes no difference on me.<br />
<br />
2. If you dyed your hair to a few shades darker than what you are going for this time around, then make sure you leave your hair dye on your DYED hair first for a bit, before you put it onto your roots, or your natural hair. Dyed hair is harder the dye or lighten again compared to natural hair. If you put all of them on all parts of your hair at the same time, you will end up with very light roots.<br />
<br />
3. When you are short of hair dye, but want to dye your hair anyway, put the conditioner into the developer and colour mixture to amp up the volume and the amount. That way you can cover your whole head of long hair with one box of dye, and at the same time you are giving yourself a deep moisture treatment. Yes I tried this before, it works the same. It's tried and true.<br />
<br />
That's it! If you have questions, please leave them in the comment section or email me! I'd be happy to answer you!<br />
Thank you for dropping by! I'll see you next week! :)<br />
<br />

It's almost that time of the year again! This Valentine's Day, what kind of makeup look will you wear?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am sorry I have been MIA for a week. I was way too busy to write a blogpost. But I did manage to film two looks this year for Valentine's Day!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pqIw7_OdgxM/VM25z892CqI/AAAAAAAACEM/opQfsbBMKZ8/s1600/blogpic.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pqIw7_OdgxM/VM25z892CqI/AAAAAAAACEM/opQfsbBMKZ8/s1600/blogpic.jpg" height="285" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
On the left, I did a sweet and innocent, first date type of look. It features the Clinique Strawberry Fudge quad. This palette is very inexpensive, and it has nice shimmery, sheer pigmentation, that brings a lot of light onto the eyes. It is definitely one of those super pigmented eyeshadows, such as the one from Urban Decay. The Clinique's texture provided the perfect effect for this look. I completed the look with long natural lashes, pink lips, and sheer glowy pink cheeks<br />
<br />
On the right, I did a more sultry and smoky look. I used a combination of purples, plums and golds for this look, with lots of thick, flared lashes. This look is nice and sexy, with a very classy feel to it. I used MAC Trax and Sketch (which if you have followed my blog long enough, you'd know it is one of my favourite combinations from the beginning of time), and L'Oreal infallible eyeshadow in Goldmine. I love these infallible eyeshadows, it's crazy shiny, with that wet yet powder texture. It adds a lot of glam on my eyes. I completed the look with neutral cheeks, and pink lips too!<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello my lovelies, happy Monday! Miserable, yes, I know. So here, I will make your Monday night better! (Hopefully..)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is the brand spanking new Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. I love Too Faced to start with, and a bigger palette from them is always nice. I skipped on the original Chocolate Bar Palette, as I am not really a purple person, and that palette features a nice bright purple colour. This time around, I just had to get the new one, as I am a fan of warm neutrals, and the colour blue is not my mortal enemy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I feel like they are usually quite fair with the pricing on their items. Never too outrageous, at least for something that's from Sephora. It retails here in Canada for $59, I believe it is $54 in the US. This palette is quite great in several ways. First of all, the packaging is fab. It looks like a real bar of chocolate. Yum!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ekbNaQD8yo0/VLSe0LE97iI/AAAAAAAACC0/k-iPiRkOMZs/s1600/Swatch1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ekbNaQD8yo0/VLSe0LE97iI/AAAAAAAACC0/k-iPiRkOMZs/s1600/Swatch1.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
The back of the packaging shows you colours from inside. I see this as quite a nice touch from Too Faced. You can immediately see the colour family this palette belongs to.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vftPayTF3b4/VLSe6SThOKI/AAAAAAAACC8/tMEjT-zbtzQ/s1600/Swatch2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vftPayTF3b4/VLSe6SThOKI/AAAAAAAACC8/tMEjT-zbtzQ/s1600/Swatch2.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The palette is in the shape of a giant piece of chocolate, it is nice and sturdy. This metal case is quite different from the original chocolate palette. It is thinner, and has a magnetized closing. The closing is not as secure as I would like. The Palette could easily pop open if rattled in a bag. It is nice to see that although the palette is thinner, there is no significant decrease in the amount of product.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Gza5VXA_P3I/VLSf0rOZcPI/AAAAAAAACDI/loIrLIcJZt0/s1600/Swatch3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Gza5VXA_P3I/VLSf0rOZcPI/AAAAAAAACDI/loIrLIcJZt0/s1600/Swatch3.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Here are the colours! The palette comes with a cute little instruction guide as usual with Too Faced Eyeshadow palettes. It smells DIVINE! It's identical to the scent of the Chocolate Soleil Bronzers, which you know I'm obsessed with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Click on the picture below to see the names of the colours.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hSTk_yNYH4M/VLSgE3u0poI/AAAAAAAACDY/kqnF1eOAaZI/s1600/Swatch5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hSTk_yNYH4M/VLSgE3u0poI/AAAAAAAACDY/kqnF1eOAaZI/s1600/Swatch5.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
In this palette:<br />
<br />
Most colours are quite warm, but not every colour is warm. There are some taupes and greys in here that adds a nice balance.<br />
<br />
Mattes:<br />
Licorice, Coconut Creme, Nougat, Truffled, Puddin', Peanut Butter, Mousse<br />
<br />
Shimmers:<br />
Hot Fudge, Cocoa Chili, Blueberry Swirl, Frosting, Rum Raisin, Caramel, Bon Bon, Butter Pecan<br />
<br />
Glitter:<br />
Pink Sugar<br />
<br />
Three Problematic Shades:<br />
<br />
Pink Sugar is the glitter colour in this palette, as Too Faced likes to include some sort of glitter eyeshadow in their palettes. It is the 2nd eyeshadow from the Left in the middle row. It has a pink tinge, but is entirely transparent, with pink and gold glitter. The glitter is quite fine, nothing so chunky that it falls all over the place, or simply doesn't stick to the eye. It is a nice way to pop some sparkle onto your eyes when you do a rather muted neutral look. I think it's nice, but it might be a problem for some, who don't prefer glitters.<br />
<br />
Blueberry Swirl is the blue colour in the palette. It is essentially a super dark base that's quite sheer, with blue shimmer over top. So it is definitely not a intensive navy shadow on the eyes. The base is a indigo blue that's almost black, but the shimmer is nice and bright, a navy blue colour. It really is quite sheer, and requires layering.<br />
<br />
Nougat is the beige pink colour that's the 3rd from Left on the top row. It is a matte beige colour that has a pink undertone. I like it, but if your complexion is similar to it, it really doesn't show up, as it is also quite sheer, but very silky.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Here is a swatch of all the colours in the palette. You can also click to enlarge it! These are quite accurate swatches. My arm is NC 15 from MAC.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zlVSD_yqD5c/VLSemERTD8I/AAAAAAAACCs/V3VAT6Binrk/s1600/Swatch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zlVSD_yqD5c/VLSemERTD8I/AAAAAAAACCs/V3VAT6Binrk/s1600/Swatch.jpg" height="241" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
I hope this was helpful! Hope this helped you make your decision on whether you should get this or not. If you are just venturing into the makeup world, you definitely need it. If you already have a million makeup palettes (like me...), I still think it's nice to have! Here is a video review as usual!<br />

Happy New Year everyone! How are everyone doing? What are your New Year Resolutions? :D I haven't really decided on mine yet. They need to be realistic this year...<br />
<br />
I have a review for y'all today, and it is about these affordable and glorious lip glosses! I mentioned this quite a while ago that these are now a favourite of mine, but I never wrote an actual review on them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Jz-KnOMFle4/VKZsHOLIiCI/AAAAAAAACBg/fekkoFnQuCo/s1600/NYX1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Jz-KnOMFle4/VKZsHOLIiCI/AAAAAAAACBg/fekkoFnQuCo/s1600/NYX1.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
The NYX Butter Glosses retail about $8.99 here in Canada each. However, they do go on sale. I bought mine for $4.99 each I believe. It was a great deal, so I snatched up 4 of them. The colours are Vanilla Cream Pie, Tiramisu, Cherry Cheese Cake, and Apple Strudel.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OLYvVQhuBlU/VKZsMJG1ADI/AAAAAAAACBs/dbYlL8DcNO8/s1600/NYX2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OLYvVQhuBlU/VKZsMJG1ADI/AAAAAAAACBs/dbYlL8DcNO8/s1600/NYX2.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Vanilla Cream Pie is a medium cool-toned pink, Tiramisu is a nude, but it will not wash you out, it has a hint of pink and brown in it to warm it up. Cherry Cheese Cake is a vivid, pigmented red orange, which is quite strange to give it such a name, and Apple Strudel is a light peachy pink. Out of these four, Apple Strudel has the least pigment, while the other three are packed with intensive pigmentation. None of these settle into lip lines, not even the light Apple Strudel.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
They are not sticky at all, but are not slippery and thin to the point of being completely useless. They are extremely creamy, and stay on lips quite well. Because they are not sticky nor heavy, they do not last for very long on the lips. Maybe 2 hours with no eating or drinking, but not more than that. I think that is fine, as these are super comfortable to wear. And due to its light and compact size, and forgiving texture, re-application is very easy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4-Ns0jV9Kq0/VKZsL2xC6LI/AAAAAAAACBo/5SGSp__mvKM/s1600/NYX3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4-Ns0jV9Kq0/VKZsL2xC6LI/AAAAAAAACBo/5SGSp__mvKM/s1600/NYX3.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
L-R: Vanilla Cream Pie, Apple Strudel, Cherry Cheese Cake, Tiramisu (Very accurate swatches)</div>
<br />
The scent is the worst part of this gloss. They are all supposed to have a vanilla scent. While Apple Strudel smells fantastic and authentic, the other three all smell very off. They do smell like vanilla, but the kind of vanilla you would smell on a candle that came out of dollar store. Very waxy and fake. They don't have a taste, which is great. Imagine tasting sweet cheap candle wax on your lips! <i>Brrr.</i>....<br />
<br />
I find them to be quite a dupe for MAC's Cremesheen Glasses, if not better. Cremesheen Glasses are my favourite type of lip glosses from MAC, they go on cream, moisturizing and very light. However, as they wear on the lips, they turn slightly plastic-y in texture. The NYX Glosses are thinner in comparison, and don't wear for as long on the lips, but as they wear off, they just disappear, without leaving strange residue behind. However, the MAC Cremesheen Glasses smell absolutely divine, like vanilla ice cream.<br />
<br />
Overall, I think these NYX Butter Glosses are awesome. You definitely need to try them out. I have filmed a review for it as well, in the video I had lip swatches as well as hand swatches. It will also show you how they look like against my skin tone, I am NC 15 in the MAC system, or very fair with a yellow undertone. If you are interested, go ahead and watch it! :D<br />

Helloo y'all, today I want to share a holiday (ish) makeup with you. It is so simple, I can't even... The makeup is entirely done with just eyeliners, and a glitter liner, but the glitter liner is optional! It is perfect for a night out, it's subtle, but edgy. All steps are included down below, including a video tutorial! Enjoy!<span id="goog_2011553615"></span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BXSMFO44KZ4/VIk8lCrfEqI/AAAAAAAAB-8/LyeePXb08Qg/s1600/makeup2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BXSMFO44KZ4/VIk8lCrfEqI/AAAAAAAAB-8/LyeePXb08Qg/s1600/makeup2.JPG" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y9-e1W56b1k/VIk8f6C12gI/AAAAAAAAB-s/1eVJAGxUwZ0/s1600/Makep.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Y9-e1W56b1k/VIk8f6C12gI/AAAAAAAAB-s/1eVJAGxUwZ0/s1600/Makep.jpg" height="272" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://youtu.be/JBuUnqzCOZ8" target="_blank">If You Can't See the Video, Click Here!</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/JBuUnqzCOZ8?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">Steps:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
First I used the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation in Fair all over.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Eyes:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
1. Line upper eyelid with a cobalt blue liquid liner, make it dramatic! I used Lancome ArtLiner Precision Liner in Sapphire.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
2. Then with a black eyeliner, draw two little wings under the lower lashline. I used the Kat Von D Ink Liner in Trooper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
3. Add glitter liner on top of both upper and lower eyeliners. I used Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Gunmetal.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4. Line your lower waterline! With any black eyeliner!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
5. Put on mascara, and your eyes are done! Fill in eyebrows!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Face:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I kept it simple, and just used my Urban Decay Baked Bronzer in Gilded, it has a nice orange tone, perfect for this look!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lips:</div>
I mixed my MAC Shy Girl lipstick with my Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Electric Orange to achieve a nice peachy lip that's not too nude!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is a whole faced look!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4t0Vb2rKBKA/VIk8gK5D3PI/AAAAAAAAB-w/uc6WmXEk8jo/s1600/makeup1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4t0Vb2rKBKA/VIk8gK5D3PI/AAAAAAAAB-w/uc6WmXEk8jo/s1600/makeup1.jpg" height="400" width="392" /></a></div>
<br />
I hope that was entertaining. Thank you for dropping by today! I hope you all have a great week! It's raining like crazy here.<br />
<br />

You looking forward to part II with my teddy bear yet? No?..It's full of pretty stuff!!</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8rqnMFcD0jk/VIFa_wrp8wI/AAAAAAAAB8I/zhHouNd0L1I/s1600/IMG_0096.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8rqnMFcD0jk/VIFa_wrp8wI/AAAAAAAAB8I/zhHouNd0L1I/s1600/IMG_0096.JPG" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
Teddy looks positively delightful (or so I imagine..he probably hates girly stuff) in his Kate Spade crowns. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><i><b>Kate Spade Bangles ($38 - $58)</b></i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is my only jewellery recommendation this year. If you were to purchase one thing from Kate Spade, it should be their bangles. These are fabulous! Unless you can afford Tiffany and Cartier, I think these Kate Spade ones are the next best budget choices! They are sweet, feminine, high quality, and so pretty. Now these ones you see on his head are rose gold ones. Kate Spade also makes these in yellow gold and silver colours. They come in many shapes and patterns. The ones decorated with rhinestones are more expensive than the others. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-prpdOlCNkB8/VIFacSvwk_I/AAAAAAAAB74/Ny3xL1j5mfM/s1600/IMG_0093.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-prpdOlCNkB8/VIFacSvwk_I/AAAAAAAAB74/Ny3xL1j5mfM/s1600/IMG_0093.JPG" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I particularly enjoy and recommend their rose golds. They are not as pink as some companies can make them to be. I can appreciate a more subtle rose gold. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Price ranges from $38 - 58. You can also catch these on sale occasionally in department stores and Kate Spade Boutiques, and of course, their website.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><i>The Body Shop Shimmer Cubes ($22) and Geisha Doll Lip and Cheek Stain ($15)</i></span></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We think TBS's makeup is the most overlooked and underrated things ever. They actually make high quality cosmetics. Their Shimmer Cubes are of great value! They are pigmented and soft! Plus they are ultra shimmery! It makes the perfect holiday eye makeup! And they look like coloured sugar cubes! What's not to like about them!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-txUq3aOyGnA/VIFbE334HJI/AAAAAAAAB8Q/GxmwZ8UOtuA/s1600/IMG_0097.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-txUq3aOyGnA/VIFbE334HJI/AAAAAAAAB8Q/GxmwZ8UOtuA/s1600/IMG_0097.JPG" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This holiday season TBS also came out with this cute little Geisha Doll lip and cheek tint. It is slightly creepy, but mostly cute. It comes with 25g (!!!) of tint! It is a orange based red tint, with occasional sprinkles of gold shimmer. The shimmer is really not noticeable on the lips. It is a bit drying, but too pretty to resist! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><i>L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Bath and Shower Gel (Shown: Spring Cerisier Papillon Shower Gel) ($22 for 8.4oz)</i></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
We LOVE L'Occitane. I love their hand and foot creams the best. But also their shower gel. This particular one I'm showing you was limited edition, and it is iridescent. However, the regular ones are just as good! The Cherry Blossom smells absolutely divine! And they are so refreshing in the shower! Absolutely recommended!</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"><b><i><span style="color: #393939; line-height: 1;"><br /></span></i></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #393939; line-height: 1;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Last one! But definitely not the least! This is incredibly expensive, I know, but this should be something your lady friend's eyes would bling for. If my friend had never gifted me this, I'd never know the wonders of it, because I simply would never buy it. It may just be the best hydration mask I have ever used.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #393939; line-height: 1;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IZYyqJAia4Q/VIFZR3zrYVI/AAAAAAAAB7U/i9o2YQygQOo/s1600/IMG_0085.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IZYyqJAia4Q/VIFZR3zrYVI/AAAAAAAAB7U/i9o2YQygQOo/s1600/IMG_0085.JPG" height="265" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Each kit comes with 4 bottles of liquid, and 4 packs of powder. You are to mix these up for one use. So yes, a box would be used only 4 times. However, I use half bottle of liquid and half pack of powder each time. It is still quite expensive to do so. However, the result is worth it! It is definitely a luxury skincare product, but that's why you would gift it to her! As most of us probably would never discover it because we don't want to fork over the cash for it!</div>

Hello my lovely lovelies, today me and my teddy (whose name is also...Teddy) shall tell the tale of Christmas, and show you how he handles gifting his ladies. He is also sitting among his (or my) collection of travel souvenirs to pretend he's in Europe.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HCgbaSFOewQ/VIFXSEsSR0I/AAAAAAAAB6o/h9qQlH706pI/s1600/IMG_0080.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HCgbaSFOewQ/VIFXSEsSR0I/AAAAAAAAB6o/h9qQlH706pI/s1600/IMG_0080.JPG" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Fragrance</span></b><br />
<br />
<i><b>See by </b></i><span style="background-color: white; font-weight: bold; line-height: 18.2000007629395px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>Chloé ($78 for 1.7oz)</i></span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; font-weight: bold; line-height: 18.2000007629395px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><i><br /></i></span></span>
Let us start with fragrance, as that is always a great gift. Choose more refreshing scents to give, unless you are sure of her taste in perfumes. We suggest <i><b>See by </b></i><span style="background-color: white; font-weight: bold; line-height: 18.2000007629395px;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>Chloé</i></span></span>. It is quite a strange scent. The opening sniff reminds me of expensive shampoo with a hint of apples, and the top notes definitely stays throughout the day, without migrating into other dimensions much. Though strange, it somehow is never obnoxious. There is nothing particularly likeable about it, but somehow still very nice when worn. It is definitely modern and refreshing. Very suitable for someone young at heart.<br />

Now this one, we can't imagine anyone not liking it, unless of course, they hate oranges. Just the description alone sold me on the spot. <b><i>Lush's Sympathy for the Skin ($26.95 for 8.4oz)</i></b><br />
<b><i><br /></i></b>We simply can't get over this lotion. This may just be the best lotion ever invented on this planet. I have used so many lotions in my life, but none come close to the deliciousness and delightfulness of this one. This is <b><i>Lush's Sympathy for the Skin</i></b>. It contains chock full of sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, vanilla, and oh my goodness BANANA!!! All my favourite things in one tub, where I can put on myself and bring to bed. Makes me sleep better and really calm me down! It smells lightly of real vanilla and a hint of banana. I can't recommend this enough. <b>It does contain parabens though! For your lady friends who are more conscious of these things, it is good to know!</b><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><i>Soap and Glory Hand Food ($6 for 1.7oz) and The Righteous Body Butter ($22 for 10.1oz)</i></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b><i><br /></i></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Soap and Glory is difficult to get here in Canada, however, Shoppers Drug Mart seems to carry them in some locations. Their <b><i>Hand Food</i></b> hand creams are very inexpensive! But they work like a charm! Better than many more co$tly ones I tried before. I highly recommend these as stocking stuffers! Their famous <b><i>The Righteous Body Butter</i></b> smells like Dior Miss Cherie Perfume. And moisturizes like nobody's business! Try it to believe it! I bet she (or he) will love it!</div>

<b><u>Products & Steps</u></b>:<br />
<br />
1. Put the HD BB cream from The Face Shop all over the face.<br />
2. Using Anastasia's Brow Duo Powder in Caramel, fill in eyebrows, focus on the front of brows to make them look straighter and fuller. Remember to use a soft coloured powder for this, to prevent brows from becoming thick bushy hot mess.<br />
3. Using MAC Cork, put this all over the upper eyelid. Then with Mulch eyeshadow, put it lightly at the outer corner, and underneath the eyes.<br />
4. Using MAC's Pigment in Blonde's Gold, brighten inner corners and tear duct area.<br />
5. Line upper and lower waterline with black eye pencil, then coat lashes with mascara!<br />
5. Use a soft matte but light bronzer, such as Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil, to contour the face. We will skip blush to make the lips and the glow of the skin stand out.<br />
6. Using Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids lipstick in Electric Orange, we will gently dab the lips, then blend out with finger. The pigment of this lipstick is insane! Be aware!<br />
<br />
Viola!!! You are done!! :D<br />
<br />
Thank you for coming by today and read my little post, I wish everyone a bright happy Saturday afternoon^^.<br />

<br />
Hello lovelies, how are y'all doing? Recently I am very much into the brand, as I repeated myself over and over again. Everything from Guerlain is so luxurious, so beautiful, and works so so so well on me. Today, I just want to talk about some Guerlain bronzers for you!<br />
<br />
I am always very obsessed with bronzers. I only have some staple ones to contour, such as Nars Laguna and Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil. Laguna for winter, and Milk Chocolate for summer. They are the bronzers I am currently hitting pan on. These do have a more brown and yellow undertone.<br />
<br />
The rest of the bronzers I have are either orange or red. Those I use as a blush + bronzer hybrid. For convenience in the morning, and also just for the great pick-me-up effect they give my face.<br />
<br />
Now these Guerlain Terracotta Light Bronzing Powders are the ones I will use to add colour to my face. Especially in winter. It makes you look healthy and glowy without having a vacation!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yrDw8TU_2fg/VG7DcQIs_UI/AAAAAAAAB5o/iOcoT19xIUo/s1600/IMG_6836.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yrDw8TU_2fg/VG7DcQIs_UI/AAAAAAAAB5o/iOcoT19xIUo/s1600/IMG_6836.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JB1z6y5qFV4/VG7D987PF8I/AAAAAAAAB5w/TFqLBHG535U/s1600/IMG_6840.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JB1z6y5qFV4/VG7D987PF8I/AAAAAAAAB5w/TFqLBHG535U/s1600/IMG_6840.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These are housed in beautiful thick plastic packagings. I love it, as these are not heavy-set like the Dior ones. The Dior bronzers are housed in metal containers that are cumbersome to carry around, or even use in the mornings. These Guerlain bronzers have a very hard texture. By that I mean, when you swirl your brushes in them, no powder fly into the air and create a mess. You barely lose any products in the application process. They have a very strong scent. It doesn't smell "in your face", but you can smell is even outside their box packagings. This signature scent smell floral, slightly "grandma"ish, definitely not as refreshing and pretty as the their Meteorites. The bronzers are a combinations of different shades of peach, pink and bronze in each of their colour choices. I have swatches all four that they currently carry as permanent shades below.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6jO-k4SNuk0/VGBOO_2V5GI/AAAAAAAABzA/3o37OxIiG2k/s1600/swatchfest.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-6jO-k4SNuk0/VGBOO_2V5GI/AAAAAAAABzA/3o37OxIiG2k/s1600/swatchfest.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
02 Blondes and 04 Sun Blondes are aimed for cooler skin-tones, while 03 Brunettes and 05 Sun Brunettes are aimed for warmer toned beauties. 04 Sun Blondes is raspberry bronze, and 05 is orange bronze. They are shimmery and slightly sparkly in the pan, but quite natural on the face, just glowy. They both appear quite red on the face, more like a bronzy blusher. They are much darker than 02 and 03, which are subtle. While 02 and 03 are nice natural bronzers, they do also have slight shimmer, but very slightly, and barely noticeable on the face. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Below I have a comparison of 02, 03 and 04 with DiorSkin Nude Tan Healthy Glow Enhancing Powder in 002 Sunlight. The Dior one is actually quite different than the others when swatched. It has a much peachier quality, and looks like a peachy blush, while the others look like bronzers. Out of the three, I think 03 Brunette is the most similar. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
You will need:<br />
<br />
Maybelline Style Smokes Palette - Natural Smokes 02Q<br />
The Face Shop HD BB Cream<br />
N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny<br />
NYX Cosmetics Butter Gloss in Tiramisu<br />
<br />
Steps:<br />
<br />
1. Use the white beige colour in the quad all over the eyelid up to the brow bone.<br />
2. The grey colour will go only on the eyelid, both upper eyelid and a bit under the eyes.<br />
3. The brown colour in the quad will go to the outer and inner corners of the upper eyelid, and also a little bit under the eyes.<br />
4. We will use the darker matte gray to deepen the lash line, and bring it under the eyes but only on the outer corner of the lower eyelid.<br />
5. Use the same colour to line upper lash line and lower too.<br />
6. Use whatever massacre you have on hand! I like Maybelline Falsies. In the tutorial I used Rimmel's ScandalEyes. And oh man, please don't buy it.<br />
6. I added lashes, because the mascara sucked. You don't have to! Line your eyes with liquid eyeliner to hide the lash bands, and pencil eye liner for lower waterline.<br />
7. Do the rest of your makeup! And viola!<br />
<br />
Hope this was helpful to you! Thanks for reading!! Will be doing reviews soon!!<br />

Hello everyone! I finally finished my Sephora 20% off haul. The store was crazy packed.<br />
<br />
Recently, I am just very into creating flawless complexions. I am kind of over the whole lipgloss, eyeshadow phase for now. Like I said in my last post, recently I am also very into Guerlain. So I purchased two of their powders. One is the <i><b>Guerlain Meteorites in 02 Clair</b></i>, the other is the <b><i>Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder</i></b>. I have two of the bronzers, they are <i><b>02 Blondes and 04 Sun Blondes</b></i>.<br />
<br />
I have also purchased the <b><i>Hourglass Ambient Powder in Diffused Light</i></b>, and a <i><b>Dior DiorShow Mono Fusion Eyeshadow in 661 Meteore</b></i>.<br />
<br />

<br />
First, I need to talk about the Meteorites. These are so pretty, from packaging to the actual product. It truly makes makeup look flawless. Although I always wanted this, I always just wanted it for the prettiness of itself, I never thought it would actually look great on the skin. However, it is the prettiest thing I have ever put onto my face. I will do a detailed review in another post.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kaHpWbvyTtE/VGJOcmqaFqI/AAAAAAAAB0Y/vXOGK30c5rc/s1600/IMG_6838.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kaHpWbvyTtE/VGJOcmqaFqI/AAAAAAAAB0Y/vXOGK30c5rc/s400/IMG_6838.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also wanted the Hourglass Ambient powder for a very long time, although not as long as the Guerlain. This is a very pretty product, it is a light yellow beige, with slight shimmer. When you first put it on, it looks like your face is a light bulb! It is lit from within! However, it leaves a very made-up look on the face, and as oil breaks through, loses its specialness. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OWE9uXVJkYo/VGJNfzgtuTI/AAAAAAAABzs/_aZpQCkaeFY/s1600/IMG_6835.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OWE9uXVJkYo/VGJNfzgtuTI/AAAAAAAABzs/_aZpQCkaeFY/s400/IMG_6835.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love Guerlain bronzers. They are so pretty. The Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder has a harder texture, powder will not dissipate when you dip your brush into it. 02 Blondes is a light bronze, while 04 is a more shimmery, an more intensive reddish bronze. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-J1IuxMu804w/VGJOJVftO7I/AAAAAAAAB0I/NqjYlh_M1v0/s1600/IMG_6836.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-J1IuxMu804w/VGJOJVftO7I/AAAAAAAAB0I/NqjYlh_M1v0/s400/IMG_6836.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ja6bPWsNuqo/VGJOb069d5I/AAAAAAAAB0Q/EVUWJl4DgpI/s1600/IMG_6840.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ja6bPWsNuqo/VGJOb069d5I/AAAAAAAAB0Q/EVUWJl4DgpI/s400/IMG_6840.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cS4Yi5oSX6A/VGJPOrM6AHI/AAAAAAAAB1E/coKmogM6kZo/s1600/swatchfest.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cS4Yi5oSX6A/VGJPOrM6AHI/AAAAAAAAB1E/coKmogM6kZo/s400/swatchfest.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The DiorShow Mono Fusion eyeshadows are the prettiest eyeshadows I have ever seen. It is along the lines of Chanel Illusion D'Ombre and Armani Eyes to Kill. It has a cream texture, but is actually a powder. It is super sparkly, with very fine glitters. First layer is very sheer, but you can build it up! It has a transparent look on the eyes. However, its fall-out is insane. Throughout the day, prepared to feel gritty things in your eyes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hwuCby1582E/VGJOkVV0rmI/AAAAAAAAB0g/xj1-IM5pLGQ/s1600/IMG_6841.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hwuCby1582E/VGJOkVV0rmI/AAAAAAAAB0g/xj1-IM5pLGQ/s400/IMG_6841.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0vd1JpPHjjU/VGJOziYBYkI/AAAAAAAAB0o/ZUZ0OgjYZak/s1600/IMG_6846.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0vd1JpPHjjU/VGJOziYBYkI/AAAAAAAAB0o/ZUZ0OgjYZak/s400/IMG_6846.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZrfrcDzk9G8/VGJO6HoCH5I/AAAAAAAAB0w/PlyLA5AsxaA/s1600/IMG_6848.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZrfrcDzk9G8/VGJO6HoCH5I/AAAAAAAAB0w/PlyLA5AsxaA/s400/IMG_6848.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This was one layer as a swatch, it does not do this eyeshadow justice. But it really adds a beautiful sheer layer of shine onto your lids.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/--_GeqUC_Nq8/VGJO-GDfviI/AAAAAAAAB04/qM2X0I_nIhI/s1600/IMG_6849.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/--_GeqUC_Nq8/VGJO-GDfviI/AAAAAAAAB04/qM2X0I_nIhI/s400/IMG_6849.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Those were all! Thank you for reading! Feel free to request any reviews!<br />

Recently I am very much into Guerlain. This is a new discovery for me, as I thought things can't get better than Chanel, I was wrong. Things do get better. Every makeup item from Guerlain I have tried so far works so well for me, I can't rave them enough. On the other hand, NARS still remains one of my favourites. I have done some lip gloss swatching recently!<br />
<br />
First up is <b><i>Guerlain Gloss D'Enfer Maxi Shine</i></b> Lip Gloss. All numbers are labeled in the picture! These are all permanent.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ME3i0jiUpaM/VGBPSOfAGuI/AAAAAAAABzQ/E6KKKgGvC5c/s1600/swatchfest2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ME3i0jiUpaM/VGBPSOfAGuI/AAAAAAAABzQ/E6KKKgGvC5c/s1600/swatchfest2.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
Next is the NARS Limited Edition Holiday 2014 lip glosses in <b><i>Solei d'Orient</i></b> and<i><b> Corsica</b></i>. I have also found some dupes from the same brand for Corsica, which is my favourite, in case these sell out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RHmgiP1nEKQ/VGBPSChUi-I/AAAAAAAABzU/3dYyXDNBeTI/s1600/swatchfest3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RHmgiP1nEKQ/VGBPSChUi-I/AAAAAAAABzU/3dYyXDNBeTI/s1600/swatchfest3.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Hope you found these useful! Have you done your holiday shopping yet?<br />

First Aid Beauty is one of my favourite brands of skin care. I am mainly attracted to the simple ingredients, and it's one of the only products that can calm down the redness in my skin. When I saw this, I could not pass it up and wait until my VIB 20% off in Sephora. <i>I just had to have it</i>.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The <b>Ultra Repair Cream</b> is actually a body lotion, but I use it on my face, and it works wonders. It worked so well in super hot and dry summer in Colorado, and it works really well in humid cold Canadian west. It never breaks me out, and it gets rid of redness lurking under my skin or on top of my skin. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also intensively love their cleanser. Before this kit, I was using the <i>Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay</i>, and I love it so much. It gets rid of all oil and leftover makeup from the skin, but it never feels dry. I use it in the morning, and I love the herbal scent. Therefore I am excited to try this cleanser out too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have not yet tried the<b> Facial Radiance Pads</b>. Will update.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am going to do a quick review of the Eye Duty Triple Remedy, and talk just a little bit on the lip balm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K0e6OybO4Ik/VE8dQsjacfI/AAAAAAAABxA/1UzO7vR6nRg/s1600/FAB3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K0e6OybO4Ik/VE8dQsjacfI/AAAAAAAABxA/1UzO7vR6nRg/s1600/FAB3.jpg" height="346" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DI7JKy6-qJk/VE8dk1GlYDI/AAAAAAAABxg/z22XS3sAqRc/s1600/FAB4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-DI7JKy6-qJk/VE8dk1GlYDI/AAAAAAAABxg/z22XS3sAqRc/s1600/FAB4.JPG" height="383" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The packaging of the <b>Eye Duty Triple Remedy</b> really bothers me, as I see it, the entire thing is quite unnecessary. It has a little hole on the back of the applicator, and the applicator itself is a metal oval that is meant to sooth and cool the eye. I highly doubt I will ever use it. It looks quite bacteria-friendly. Plus I don't want the product to dry on the metal, and then be used again the next day. It would be a much better design if it was just a simple tube, and we can apply it with our ring fingers. Anyway, it is supposed to brighten dark circles and smooth under eye bags. We'll see how it works. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It has a pink colour, and when you spread it out (in the swatch, it is spread out on the left of the pink dot), it is very very sheer, which is great, because who would like to have pink under eyes. It has a gel-like consistency that is very thin, and cooling. So far I am going to tentatively say, I like it. I think it is is a wonderful morning eye cream.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The <b>Ultra Repair Lip Therapy </b>smells like toothpaste. I want to say Spearmint, but I think it's more peppermint. It is free of petroleum. It is one of those balms that promises its fill of different butters, and feels grainy on the lips. It is very thick, and very moisturizing. After it wears off, lips remain quite moisturized. However, due to the texture, I don't think I like it very much.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qLgPjRCUBKQ/VE8uqNzp3nI/AAAAAAAAByQ/1kzlEFkWc1M/s1600/FAB5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qLgPjRCUBKQ/VE8uqNzp3nI/AAAAAAAAByQ/1kzlEFkWc1M/s1600/FAB5.JPG" height="267" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Because it's lack of some waxes and petroleum, it is a rather matte balm. I imagine if you put a little on, it is no different than a stick balm. If you put a lot on, it will look something like the picture below. Just a bit of a glow.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FL01ugPkrgU/VE8uu104pHI/AAAAAAAAByY/zZl7bY8u5_A/s1600/FAB6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FL01ugPkrgU/VE8uu104pHI/AAAAAAAAByY/zZl7bY8u5_A/s1600/FAB6.JPG" height="400" width="356" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope this is helpful! And I hope this is one of the holiday sets you will be getting this year! As I really recommend it. It has great value, and great products. Almost none of the products contained in the kit is unnecessary, as I see so often in big holiday kits. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What are you planning on getting yourselves and your friends this holiday season?</div>

I love glitter nail polishes. It is kind of like jewellery, or like making your nails become little pieces of jewellery. I especially love them during fall and winter, and of course, during the holidays.<br />
<br />
Sephora's Formula X line has recently put out a new limited edition nail polish called Alchemy. I could neither resist the colour, nor the name. Fellow book-lovers, who doesn't want a bit of that action on your nails?<br />
<br />
Here are quick swatches. Excuse the sloppy application on the cuticles. Now a days I am so busy, I have less damn to give.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MzZBSgMUnlc/VEs-j7Y6FoI/AAAAAAAABwI/7ZdkC5sOg2Y/s1600/Sephora%2BAlchemist.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MzZBSgMUnlc/VEs-j7Y6FoI/AAAAAAAABwI/7ZdkC5sOg2Y/s1600/Sephora%2BAlchemist.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Click me big to see the magic!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<a name='more'></a><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TIXCBsFAQ8U/VEs-i_5Y2TI/AAAAAAAABwA/MAoawJdIfbo/s1600/SEphora%2Balchemist%2B1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TIXCBsFAQ8U/VEs-i_5Y2TI/AAAAAAAABwA/MAoawJdIfbo/s1600/SEphora%2Balchemist%2B1.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Me too! </td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
These were 2 really quick coats, with no basecoat and no topcoat. You don't have to be extra careful with these, they are so easy and seamless. You will likely end up with perfect manicure in 5 minutes. They apply smoothly, streakless, and is very opaque. They look foiled from afar, but very glittery up close.<br />
<br />
It has a very slight purple-pink tone, although mostly, it is a silver-pewter base, with lots of pink, blue, yellow and even green micro glitters. The pink dominants, therefore it almost has a pink hologram to it. And thus the purple-pink tone in the base. It is super duper pretty, and I love it. The name is perfect.<br />
<br />
How's everyone doing! Is it still warm where you are? Or cold? Like us?<br />

E<span style="font-family: inherit;">yes:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I used my Lorac Solid Gold palette today. This was a very affordable little palette I got last Christmas in a random Ulta in New Jersey. It was at the cash register, and I regretted this impulse buy for some time after, because I need another neutral palette like I need a bullet in my head. But now I quite enjoy it!</span><br />

<br />
As a beauty obsessed gal, I think we all feel a rather exaggerated sense of accomplishment when we finish beauty products. I feel that the most, when I finish lip glosses, eyeshadows and blushes. It is literally <i>Mission Impossible</i>. Y'all know what I mean.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have not finished any lip glosses, eyeshadows, nor blushes this month. (<i>Argh..</i>) However! I did finish somethings! And I am going to do a mini review for everyone!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jBfjrGd68zk/VDt4Z2M757I/AAAAAAAABtw/zUXPTyDZxEw/s1600/photo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jBfjrGd68zk/VDt4Z2M757I/AAAAAAAABtw/zUXPTyDZxEw/s1600/photo.JPG" height="400" width="297" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yes, I chose a ferocious (cat) red "Keep Calm" background today. Because it's not tacky at all.<br />
<a name='more'></a><div style="text-align: left;">
<u><b>Makeup Forever HD Foundation in #117</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This has gotta be one of my top choice foundations EVER. I love it so much. The trick to applying this is to make sure your face is well moisturized. It looks <i>insane</i> in pictures. You have to try it to believe it. It is a close second to my NARS Sheer Glow, and I finished two bottles of that already. But you know what, this could easily be No. 1 too. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<u><b>Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The Ultimate Love-Hate Relationship. Sometimes I feel like I put nothing on my face at all. Sometimes it looks gorgeous. The last time I went to Vegas with this stuff in the summer, it was over 100 degrees, and this looked really beautiful and wore really nicely as well. When I'm back home, this was more like a meh.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<u><b>Origins A Perfect World Age-Defence Treatment Lotion</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
No. It's just a toner. It smells nice, like oranges with some herbs. I always love Origins citrus scents. They smell delicious, yet they are not like putting a big orange in your face. It is a simple toner with lots of essential oils. Ultra-sensitive skins stay clear. Apparently these fragrant oils can irritate you. To be honest, I'm as sensitive as they come. And I don't feel any irritation. I don't use toners in the morning though.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<u><b>Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is one of those mascaras that come with that rubber spike wand, like Covergirl Lashblast. I had nothing to say for this one. It was neither good nor bad. It didn't give me super lashes, but at least it also didn't smudge or flake or wear off. It could not hold a curl! But it was easy to wash off at night.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b><u>Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I did NOT like this. While it had no significant scent, which was a big plus for me, as I get nauseous over these things easily, it was super greasy and thick. When I put it on, it felt like putting body butter on your hands, very very thick ones too. Then it kind of stays greasy. If you sleep with this, it would probably do you some good. In the day time, not so. Also over time, the herbal light scent also gets pretty tiring and kind of got me nauseous. BUT! I am extremely sensitive to scents. Not everyone is as crazy as me.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Yay for finally entering fall! Time to have dark lips going! Although to be honest, every time I wear a darker lip I kind of shock myself in the mirror in a bad way. But whatever, it's Halloween, and I'm quite a self-entertained person anyway. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<br />
Before y'all throw tomatoes at me for being MIA for eternity, I'd like to say that yes! That was my fault. But always look on the bright side of life. That is, I am back. After a long summer being away and super busy, I finally have time to write a blog! Since it's the end of September, what time better to write a brand new fall look post?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-i7jhU60eS58/VCd8qnNawHI/AAAAAAAABtM/kIFCW92-i1U/s1600/9.27.3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-i7jhU60eS58/VCd8qnNawHI/AAAAAAAABtM/kIFCW92-i1U/s1600/9.27.3.JPG" height="297" width="400" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
Clearly, I am on a NARS kick lately. I put some super natural matte eyeshadows on with a bold winged line on the eyes, a pumpkin-y sparkly blush, and of course, a super bright pink-coral lip. These are, of course, also my current babies. I love them to death.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Face: NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Terre Neuve<br />
Blush: NARS Blush in Unlawful<br />
Eyeshadow: NARS Eyeshadow Duo in Madrague<br />
Eyeliner: Kat von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper<br />
Lips: YSL Rouge Pur Couture in No. 52 Rosy Coral<br />
Necklace: Tiffany's Paloma Picasso Olive Leaf Heart Pendant. (Thanks to my clumsy nerdy yet loveble man. This guy is so very bad at dealing with girls. Yet I received roses and Tiffany at all the right occasions hahaha. Love this guy.)<br />
<br />
And now of course, an annoying selfie!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Yay for autumn! This year, surprisingly, I am not that unhappy that summer is gone. It was way to hot in Colorado. Therefore, yes rain! Come at your full force! Shower me with the blues!<br />
<br />
Until next time.<br />

Everyone knows how much I love the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil. This is the product that if I was chucked onto a island with no human civilization, I will bring it with me. Although now that I think about it, it's quite dangerous, since it smells like chocolate, and I don't know... fierce animals might have much better noses than humans do, and Gosh! What doesn't like chocolate?!<br />
<br />
Anyways! Since I love it so much, and Sephora is always raising prices in Canada, I would like to hunt for a dupe. Today I went into The Body Shop, and they had a 50% off on makeup sale, and when I spotted this, I told the sales lady this is the one. Because it instantly reminded me of my beloved. When I brought it home, it turned out quite different. Seriously, the lighting in The Body Shop is really very bad at giving accurate swatches. Well, they certainly look similar in the pan! This is the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in Medium Matte 03. Look at the delicious honey comb pattern! I just really like to put makeup and sweets together in one picture.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sWU0f1KYXTk/U5AQqhbCVpI/AAAAAAAABlQ/dpvA9LO1fPQ/s1600/IMG_6026.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sWU0f1KYXTk/U5AQqhbCVpI/AAAAAAAABlQ/dpvA9LO1fPQ/s1600/IMG_6026.jpeg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Other than the lack of the delicious chocolate scent, the texture is very similar. I'd say the Honey Bronze powder is even silkier than the Too Faced Milk Chocolate. Too Faced Milk Chocolate feels slightly drier and chalkier to the touch. Both of these are quite sheer, the Honey Bronze is very sheer in fact. Every colour in this line is very sheer, you have to be careful on picking your shades. I am very fair, and I think 01 and 02 would barely show up on me. They are also more orangey shades. But I really don't mind the sheerness. I want to build bronzer up slowly to have more natural looks.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LXYDDjKq-RQ/U5AQqqr8i_I/AAAAAAAABlM/xOgDbDEfBUY/s1600/IMG_6025.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LXYDDjKq-RQ/U5AQqqr8i_I/AAAAAAAABlM/xOgDbDEfBUY/s1600/IMG_6025.jpeg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Despite the deceiving packing, the Too Faced compact actually contain less product than The Body Shop does. The Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder contains 11g of product, while the Too Faced contains 10g. Because today it was on sale, the Honey Bronze only costed me $10, while the Too Faced costs $38.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cpogiSKbWAY/U5AQpgI1bZI/AAAAAAAABlA/pXT7yHC9r28/s1600/IMG_6024.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cpogiSKbWAY/U5AQpgI1bZI/AAAAAAAABlA/pXT7yHC9r28/s1600/IMG_6024.jpeg" height="300" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">L: The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder in Medium Matte 03. R: Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
It turned out not to be an exact dupe. The Honey Bronze has more orange brown tones in it, while the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil is very cool toned taupe yellow brown. However, compared to many bronzers now a days, this is not a very orangey product. It is still relatively cool toned brown. It is good for contouring if used heavily, or an all over glow if used with a light hand.<br />
<br />
I am very happy with it! At this price point, I think this product is very much worth it. Best thing is, The Body Shop frequently have products go on sale, and their Love Your Body Membership gives you extra 10% off!<br />
<br />
Hope you all find your perfect bronze for summer!<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
Over the years, I have bought way too many big bottles of perfumes. For one thing, they are cheap compared to their smaller brothers and sisters. Over the years, I have also learnt that I can never finish a single perfume in my lifetime. Because no matter how much I love them at first whiff, I always end up hating them when I get to about the half point. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This summer, I have fought with my inner money-per-unit-saving demons, and bought two roller-ball perfumes. So far, I can safely say I will finish them, and will utilize my cash to the fullest! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-98iKl6NoGAU/U4windh8bvI/AAAAAAAABko/pT1XHdd3SMU/s1600/IMG_5915.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-98iKl6NoGAU/U4windh8bvI/AAAAAAAABko/pT1XHdd3SMU/s1600/IMG_5915.JPG" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a>Okay first of all, I think roller-ball perfume packagings are cute. They look like packaging for stationary, and everyone knows I'm stationary girl. It's a weird fetish with ma pens and pencils, and rulers. Especially Florabotanica. You know what, you look like bookmark material. I once made a bookmark out of Flowerbomb packaging! So this one will do too!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-w0hddisCctQ/U4wimuXzCfI/AAAAAAAABkk/bMoDYgebPbA/s1600/IMG_5916.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-w0hddisCctQ/U4wimuXzCfI/AAAAAAAABkk/bMoDYgebPbA/s1600/IMG_5916.JPG" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There they are. Surprisingly, I love both of these very very much. They are unique and sexy, both of them, especially after a while. They will drift into this musky soft scent, that feels like it came out of your own body. Like naturally smelling pretty!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Florabotanica is VERY strong. I mean it when I say it. It has the intensity of Chanel and Dior perfumes. It is literally in-my-face-flower-explosion, even when I just roll it onto my wrist. I can smell them strongly. Then after a while, it becomes pleasant, and I smell like a pretty summer freshly blooming garden. But for the first 2 hours, it has that unpleasant "your perfume is too strong" feel, and sometimes it give me a headache. But it smells so good later. Very fresh and feminine.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
Nirvana on the other hand, suffers oppositely. It smells fruity and fresh, slightly floral. After a while it becomes this insanely beautiful sexy musky scent. However, I only smells this when I bring my wrist to my nose, and take a very loud whiff, which attracts unwanted attention on public transit, and I can smell myself (sounds weird), and I smell good (oh wow even weirder). But I want others to smell my gorgeousness! I can't lift my arm to the guy sitting next to me and say "hey stranger, wanna smell me? I smell good!"</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Both of these have supreme staying power. I wish Florabotanica is a little mellower, and I wish Nirvana is a little stronger. But all in all, I love them! But I just want to note everyone, the Florabotanica smells very similar to the new Tory Burch perfume that just came out. Slightly different, but very similar. But that is the only one I can think of that smells similar to this!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hope you all find your signature scent for summer!<br />
<br />

Another late night post. And yes, read that title again. What a mouthful.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XKrHvUUTirA/U4Wxf6KaaDI/AAAAAAAABkM/z0TfMWQvwy8/s1600/IMG_5917.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XKrHvUUTirA/U4Wxf6KaaDI/AAAAAAAABkM/z0TfMWQvwy8/s1600/IMG_5917.JPG" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
I have given up on very expensive lip products for a while now (with the exception of Hourglass Ballet, which is...like I said, one of a kind and necessary), and am currently obsessed with NYX butter glosses, because those remind me of my favourite MAC Cremesheen glasses, with a supermarket price tag. But alas, YSL has its thing that pulls people like me back into the water, and drowns in endless darkness of credit card bills.<br />
<br />
In any case, I am ashamed to say that the most attractive thing of this product to me, is the scent. It smells like different kinds of alcoholic beverages, mostly beer. That is not to say that I am an alcoholic! Quite to the contrary, I don't drink much. This is clearly off topic.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ws1XS7fsTis/U4WxfkugedI/AAAAAAAABkQ/Gva2s09Ll2w/s1600/IMG_5918.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ws1XS7fsTis/U4WxfkugedI/AAAAAAAABkQ/Gva2s09Ll2w/s1600/IMG_5918.JPG" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The least attractive thing to me, from this product line, is the stain selection. I know it has many colours, but most of them look the same after a while. If you think about it, for a staining lip product, there are only so many undertones of the stain a company could make. It's either a red-orange related tint, or a pink-berry related tint. The initial top layer of colour is pretty sheer in the lighter shades. The darker the colour, the more opaque it is. But in general, they apply darker than they look in the tube. If you wipe them off, the stain left behind is similar in similar colour families.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This one in particular, No. 29 Rose Fourreau, is supposed to be a rosy colour. It looks rose in the tube, applies rose on the lips. Within 5 minutes, it drifts into the red territory. It looks like a my-lip-but-better red. Definitely not rose. But I like it. It has a triangular sponge applicator that feels very fancy and grabs enough products out of the tube. Normal sponge doe-foot applicators cannot grab the same amount out in a single pass.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BZ3Lq-mXAxg/U4WxeppW43I/AAAAAAAABkE/evV0SIR04PI/s1600/IMG_5919.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BZ3Lq-mXAxg/U4WxeppW43I/AAAAAAAABkE/evV0SIR04PI/s1600/IMG_5919.JPG" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It lasts for <i>ages</i>. When you pick your lips, bite your lips, play your lips, this thing does not budge. The shine goes away while you abuse your lips. As soon as you stop, after a while, the shine actually comes back. It applies like water-gel, but dries like a layer of soft plastic on the lips. It feels very drying however. It doesn't look dry, but it feels dry underneath. I sort of can't bear it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Overall, it's a nice thing to have, especially for long special events. You could wear it, and forget about it. No more touch-ups. But I would not buy another colour. If you don't have it, I certainly think you should try it out and see if you might like it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<br /></div>
<br />
I have saved my Sephora points for a very long time. Sometimes I will redeem one or two 100 point perks, but I don't think I have ever redeemed for a 500 point perk. Most of those 500 point perks look pretty stingy and cheap from a company like Sephora, considering that people like us spend hundreds of dollars in their store every year. And really, this is kind of like a gift-with-purchase when you accumulatively spend 500 bucks.<br />
<br />
Anyways, other than the full size Benefit Coralista from several years ago, this is the first one that I think is worth getting. This is just out today (by today I really mean yesterday, as it is like..3:00 am right now), and I had to go in to get them. I know they are all minis, but the blush itself contains 4g of product, while a full-sized Nars blush contains about 4.5g of product, so this mini is kind of full size in a mini container. The lip crayon and the eyeliner each contain exactly half of the full sized products.<br />
<br />
To be honest, when I opened these, their tininess did shock me a little. Especially the blush. It is <i>literally</i> a mini. But I digress, you can't judge things entirely on the size of their containers!<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FMW8xEJRzrE/U4BzQdXuGGI/AAAAAAAABjg/c_ZVzT2H13I/s1600/IMG_5955.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FMW8xEJRzrE/U4BzQdXuGGI/AAAAAAAABjg/c_ZVzT2H13I/s1600/IMG_5955.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Here are what they look like taken out of the magic box. You get a 1.7g Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien, which is a shimmery rose; a 0.5g Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, a 4g Deep Throat Blush, and a 0.3g Larger than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto, which is standard black.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
They are cute. Especially the blush.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Here are their sizes compared to my paw.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Here is just to help anyone who is undecided on getting this perk or not. Personally speaking, this set is not totally worth the 500 points, but it is one of the <i>really good</i> ones Sephora has put out in a very long time. If you don't have the blush, it is worth your points.<br />
