Mini-post About New Hair

Just a quick result swatch. I am quite disappointed really. I used the L'Oreal Superior Preference in Natural Light Ash Brown. I used it on my virgin black hair, although my virgin hair is not quite black, it's more of a very dark brown. The result is almost the entirely same as my old hair colour, maybe about a shade lighter, and a tiny change in the undertone of my hair, less orange maybe. I followed instruction carefully too!

Fall to Winter Look with Maybelline Chai Latte Quad

I've got a new look for you! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving here in Canada.

This look is my new everyday look that I've been doing recently with the Maybelline Chai Latte quad. I don't like the quad, not very long lasting and the matte shades are not too pigmented. But I really like the look I create with it. It is a semi-dramatic day time look for me. But it may look very subtle to you. I'm just used to the barely-there everyday makeup I do all the time. This is definitely up a notch, and a little more time consuming for me in the morning!

A Bit of Sage...A Bit of Olive, For This Fine, Chilly Autumn Day

Here is my first look for this Fall. I chose green...I was actually thinking about orange and copper the whole time, then I did a green look...

It is so incredibly freezing here!!! It is totally a day for hot chocolate. People keep complaining that Vancouverites can't stop talking about the weather, but seriously! Living here for over 10 years doesn't stop you from being surprised every year by the late September rain-hit.

But anyway I really loved how this look turned out. It is a golden olive green look. The colour family I really like for some reason.

Arghhh...It's so cold already!

Hi all, I've had an awesome summer, hope you all did too. It is getting miserably rainy and freezing here in Vancouver already. It reminds me of that old episode of How I Met Your Mother, when the hurricane hit the gang in New York, Ted was in total survival mode, and Robin was all like: Are you kidding? I'm from Vancouver, this is picnic weather! 

My point is, it is cold. So I did an "End of Summer" look to hold on to the tail of Summer longer. Right now I am sitting in front of the computer, writing this blog, and leaving a thick layer of lip balm on to repair my cracked lips from its soreness and a broken heart from this unfortunate storm outside.
